Digitalent Launches DTG-720-ISIM Industrial Failsafe Gateway

Digitalent officially announces its next-generation industrial failsafe gateway DTG-720-ISIM. Combining triple WAN automatic switchover with iSIM technology co-developed with CloudWings Network, the device achieves seamless uplink failover in as little as 12 seconds — designed for factories, substations, smart buildings, and IP surveillance deployments where connectivity downtime is unacceptable.

Triple WAN Failover with 12-Second Seamless Switchover

The DTG-720-ISIM provides three independent uplinks: Ethernet, built-in 4G miniPCIe (iSIM), and external USB 4G. The built-in failover engine continuously probes each uplink and switches to the next-priority link when the primary goes down, automatically rebinding NAT rules and rebuilding OpenVPN tunnels — all without any reconfiguration on downstream devices.

Three speed presets let users pick by scenario:

• Fast mode: 3-second probe interval, ~12-second switchover — for real-time applications
• Balanced mode: 5-second probe, ~18-second switchover — general use
• Data Saver mode: 15-second probe, ~49-second switchover, only ~58 MB 4G usage per uplink per month

With Probe Standby mode enabled, idle uplinks can consume zero data, significantly reducing long-term 4G monthly costs.

Three-Tier Remote Access — No More On-Site Dispatch

To solve the IoT industry's biggest headache — "if it goes offline, someone has to drive out there" — DTG-720-ISIM offers three independent remote access channels:

• LAN Management IP (192.168.99.1): independently bound at boot, reachable even when the main service crashes — the ultimate rescue channel
• Digitalent Cloud frp: cloud access ready out of the box, no self-hosted server required
• Customer frp: fully configurable to point at your own frps server for compliance with corporate security policies

Even under extreme scenarios — all WAN links down, software crashed — the device remains reachable and recoverable.
