Engineering Services

PCB Design × Layout Contract Service

「End-to-end hardware service from schematic design and PCB layout to Gerber output」

Backed by in-house embedded-hardware development experience. DTG-720, DTG Core, and the XS4G01 iSIM module were all designed, laid out, and shipped in-house by the same team.

Scope of Work

From idea to Gerber, end-to-end

Schematic Design

Requirements to component selection, schematic capture, and simulation validation. Includes power-tree design and initial signal-integrity planning.

PCB Layout & Routing

Manual routing on critical nets — no black-box auto-routing. Includes stack-up planning, impedance control, and trace-width calculation.

Multilayer & High-Speed Signals

1 to 10+ layer high-density boards, with BGA fanout, DDR / SGMII / USB / MIPI and other high-speed signal routing.

DFM Review & Gerber Delivery

Pre-fabrication DFM (Design for Manufacture) check to catch manufacturability issues. Delivers standard Gerber (RS-274X) + Drill + BOM + Pick-and-Place files.

Handoff Spec

What you give us vs what we give you

Input (one or more)

  • Requirements document
  • NetList (from your schematic)
  • Mechanical DXF / 3D model
  • Layout Guide / Design Rules

Output

  • Schematic PDF
  • PCB layout source files (Altium / KiCad / EasyEDA etc.)
  • Gerber (RS-274X) + Drill file
  • Pick-and-Place file + BOM
Who this is for

Three typical customer profiles

System Integrators

SIs who need to outsource board design — rush projects, no in-house layout engineer, or scaling faster than hiring.

Equipment Manufacturers

Existing boards need a revision (original designer left / files lost); or a critical chip has EOL and needs a pin-to-pin replacement design.

Hardware Startups

From zero to prototype, and on to volume PCB. Startups looking for a partner who has actually shipped hardware — not just a Layout house.

Engagement Process

Five steps from need to delivery

01

Consultation & scoping

30-minute video call to understand your needs. NDA signed. Feasibility, quote, timeline.

02

Schematic design

Component selection, schematic capture, power tree, signal planning. Iterative review with the customer.

03

PCB layout

Stack-up planning, manual routing on critical nets, EMI / SI considerations, mechanical integration.

04

DFM review + Gerber delivery

Pre-fabrication DFM check, Gerber output, Drill / BOM / Pick-and-Place delivered together.

05

(Optional) post-prototype debug support

After you fab the prototype, we can provide bounded debug and revision support per contract.

Why Digitalent

Not just a Layout house — an engineering partner that actually ships hardware

Real in-house shipping experience

DTG-720, DTG Core C1/C4, and XS4G01 iSIM modules are all in mass production. BGA fanout, LTE high-speed RF routing, CE / FCC EMI certifications — all done in-house. Not a slide deck.

SI integration background — we know system-level constraints

Since 2014, integrating industrial systems. We've seen field-side requirements first-hand — EMI, ESD, wide-temperature, mechanical fit — and factor them into design, not as afterthoughts.

Direct engineer-to-engineer conversation

No sales-engineering middle layer. Hardware engineers talk directly to your team, review schematics, and reason through trade-offs. Revisions don't get lost in translation.

FAQ

Always. All design files, schematics, layouts, and deliverables belong to the customer. We do not retain or reuse customer-specific designs.
