DTG-720-iSIM
Industrial Failsafe Gateway
Downtime is lost revenue. One device delivers 24/7 uninterrupted industrial connectivity. Four-uplink redundancy with seamless switchover in as little as 12 seconds, three independent remote-management channels, built-in iSIM + MVNO telecom service — provisioned from power-on to cloud management in 30 minutes.

Key Features
Four Uplinks, 12-Second Switchover
Simultaneous support for wired broadband, built-in iSIM, external USB 4G, plus optional WiFi — four uplink paths in total. Any drop triggers automatic switchover with zero downstream reconfiguration. Fastest preset switches in 12 seconds; the data-saver preset consumes as little as 58 MB per uplink per month.
Three-Layer Remote Access — Always Reachable
Direct on-site console access when fully offline, Digitalent's own remote maintenance channel, and a customer-owned independent channel — three mutually independent management paths. Any one failing does not affect the others.
Built-in iSIM + MVNO Telecom Service
No SIM card procurement, no carrier contract negotiation. Powered by CloudWings Network's MVNO-authorized core module, with multi-carrier automatic switching and international roaming. From power-on to cloud management in 30 minutes.
Centralized Monitoring Platform
Through Digitalent's in-house iSIM Monitor platform, a single dashboard manages anywhere from dozens to thousands of devices — with group permissions, historical event logs, and remote command dispatch.
One-Click POC Validation
Built-in automated test pages dramatically reduce labor during procurement evaluation — connectivity, services, I/O, and remote channels are all validated in a single pass.
Full Industrial-Grade Specifications
9–48 VDC wide voltage input, 0–70°C operating range, CE/FCC certified, Yocto Linux RT kernel, dual MQTT channels (vendor and customer independent), watchdog service monitoring.

Dual-System OOB — The iSIM Module Rescues the Host
The DTG-720-iSIM differs from generic 4G industrial gateways in a way that lives inside the iSIM module itself: our iSIM module (shared lineage with the DTG Core family) is a complete smart module — it carries its own SoC, Yocto Linux, and LTE radio. When the host gateway crashes, the iSIM subsystem stays online independently, and reverses role to become the OOB rescue channel for the host.
Dual-System Architecture
Yocto Linux RT handles routing, failover, VPN, Monitor reporting, and all business-logic workloads. Generic 4G industrial gateways stop here.
Our iSIM module (DTG Core-class smart module) carries its own SoC, Yocto Linux, SSH, and LTE radio — it is itself a complete computing subsystem. When the host crashes, the iSIM stays online and can reverse-rescue the host: remote console, host firmware rollback, host reboot.
Analogy: enterprise server iDRAC / iLO
Dell iDRAC and HPE iLO are BMC out-of-band management channels — when the host OS crashes, IT can still reach the BMC and recover. The DTG-720-iSIM brings this architecture down to the industrial LTE gateway tier by a specific approach: making the built-in iSIM module itself the second system. Industrial gateways that treat their iSIM / 4G module as a dumb modem cannot do this, because their comms module has no independent compute capability.
TCO Estimate: ~NT$100,000 / unit saved over 5 years
An on-site service trip (labor + travel + downtime cost) runs NT$5,000–10,000 per incident. With OOB, the scenarios requiring a truck roll drop sharply:
| Scenario | Generic IPC | DTG-720-iSIM |
|---|---|---|
| Main system crashed | Truck roll for on-site reset / reflash | OOB channel remote rescue |
| Firmware update failed | Truck roll for on-site reflash | OOB rollback from recovery image |
| Misconfiguration lockout | Truck roll for console rescue | OOB remote console + revert config |
| Estimated truck rolls over 5 years | 10–15 trips | 1–2 trips |
| Estimated 5-year TCO delta | — | Saves NT$80K–150K / unit |
Why Generic IPCs Can't Do This
The 4G comms module in a generic industrial computer is a passive modem — it just provides connectivity, with no independent compute capability. When the host OS crashes, the entire unit goes silent and the only option is a truck roll. Digitalent's iSIM module (DTG Core-class) is itself a smart module: it has its own SoC, Yocto Linux, SSH, and OTA capability. Embedding this smart module inside the DTG-720 naturally produces a host + iSIM subsystem dual-system architecture. This is something only Digitalent's vertical integration — iSIM module + industrial-computer host + software stack, all designed in-house — can deliver, and it is the core idea behind the OOB patent.

iSIM Monitor Dashboard
Every device's status at a glance
Every DTG-720-iSIM comes with Digitalent's in-house centralized monitoring platform — no separate license required. From one device to thousands, keep a unified view of field connectivity, failover events, and remote management.

iSIM Monitor Dashboard — fleet overview view
Core Capabilities
Live Device Overview
One dashboard shows all deployed devices — online status, current active uplink (wired / iSIM / external 4G / WiFi), and last check-in time. Any offline device or failover event is surfaced instantly.
Failover Event History
Query any device's past uplink switchovers and failover events for any date range. Maintenance reports, SLA validation, and incident analysis — all in one place.
Remote Command Dispatch
No on-site visit required. Send reboot, GPIO control, and VPN commands directly from the platform to any device. Critical situations resolved in seconds.
Full Device Detail Page
A single device page shows complete status: system info, VPN connectivity, remote channel state, and I/O pin status. Field engineers no longer have to guess when troubleshooting remotely.
Groups & Permissions
Create device groups by project, customer, or region; assign tiered account access. Third-party operators only see authorized groups — data stays compartmentalized.
One-Click Entry to Device UI
Jump directly from the dashboard to any device's Digitalent maintenance channel or customer management channel. No manual IP lookup, no config steps — massive operational savings.

iSIM Monitor Dashboard — single-device real-time status
Ideal For
Multi-Site System Integrators
Manage devices spread across cities and customers from a single account
Operations Teams with SLA Commitments
Failover event logs provide airtight evidence for contract validation
Multi-Customer Resellers
Group isolation ensures each customer sees only their own devices — secure and professional
Factories Cutting Field-Labor Costs
Remote commands replace technician dispatch; emergencies don't wait for someone to arrive
Included with Every DTG-720-iSIM
No separate license purchase, no self-hosted backend, no server maintenance. After purchasing DTG-720-iSIM, Digitalent provisions your monitoring account — devices start reporting status the moment they power up.
