"Bringing Art to Life": POCKET COMPANION — First Real-World Deployment of NFCTAP

Digitalent's NFCTAP dynamic encryption technology has reached its first real-world deployment with POCKET COMPANION. Developed in partnership with contemporary art platform Fig Generation, and designed by Japanese illustrator AAMY and Taiwanese artist Fanko, this collectible doll elevates NFCTAP from an anti-counterfeiting tool into an art interaction platform with genuine emotional connection.

From Authentication Tool to Meaningful Interaction

Throughout the development of NFCTAP dynamic encryption, the team kept returning to one question: "Beyond anti-counterfeiting, what moments of delight can this technology bring to collectors?"

That question gave rise to the "unlock card" and "digital growth" mechanics — turning every phone tap into more than a verification. Instead of a static display, collecting becomes a living process of participation.
