DTG Core iSIM C1 / C4 Module Series Now Available
New lightweight LTE core modules: C1 with CAT1 bis USB plug-and-play design, C4 with CAT4 and Yocto Linux — helping existing devices integrate 4G connectivity fast.
Digitalent officially launches the DTG Core iSIM module series, offering two variants for different IoT scenarios.
C1 (CAT1 bis) uses the C16QS LGA package with a USB 2.0 host interface — ideal for devices that need quick 4G connectivity without changing the existing hardware architecture. Supports NanoSIM + eSIM dual SIM standby (optional) with built-in ESD protection and EEPROM/RTC.
C4 (CAT4) is built on the XS4G01 LGA package running Yocto Linux. It supports SSH, OTA updates, Python/Shell edge computing, and GNSS positioning — designed for industrial IoT applications requiring edge compute capability.
